We deal with many different emergency call outs. This radiator leak was cleaned using a combination of wet and dry extraction cleaning. With the majority of the water extracted, the dry extraction granules then absorbed the dirt. The staining was reduced because our customer acted quickly and called us out to resolve the issue.
Acting quickly in removing any stains can help with the end results. Most spills can be improved just by diluting with water (not excessively) and blotting (not rubbing) the area. Don't use any cleaning fluids which contain bleaching agents, these will only leave white marks or discolour the carpet permanently. If in doubt contact us for advice.
